The JSA members are standing in a radio studio to get an award but the announcer doesn't laud them, but the newly organized Injustice Society of the World, promptly pulling a gun on the JSA and firing at them! The Atom stops him and when the JSA returns to their HQ they hear a radio broadcast about simultaneous jail breaks all over the country. Dr. Mid-Nite enters with the announcer's script page, from the Injustice Society, challenging the JSA to a battle of wits. Seeing a connection with the jail breaks and that script page, the members head out to the locations of the jail breaks.

Cracking under the pressure of his damaged son and failing business, Norman regains his memory of being the Green Goblin and the secret identity of his deadliest foe. Trying to get to Spidey where it hurts, the Goblin captures Gwendy and brings her to the top of the Brooklyn Bridge. During the fight, Gwen falls from the bridge and when Spider-Man tries to catch her with a web line, her neck snaps.

Storyline

"Riders in the Sky" While Dan-El and Natongo are out hunting they are startled by the strange sight of riders in the sky. They briefly see two women captives with the riders before they fade away. Fearful that the women captives are their wives they try to follow the strange sight and come upon Goza Nyanga. Goza, a wizard, tells them how to find the real riders. When they help the female captives escape they find that they are not their wives. The women escape, but Dan-El and Natongo are caught by the riders. Before they can be killed their wives arrive with help to rescue them.

Storyline
"Riders in the Sky" While Dan-El and Natongo are out hunting they are startled by the strange sight of riders in the sky. They briefly see two women captives with the riders before they fade away. Fearful that the women captives are their wives they try to follow the strange sight and come upon Goza Nyanga. Goza, a wizard, tells them how to find the real riders. When they help the female captives escape they find that they are not their wives. The women escape, but Dan-El and Natongo are caught by the riders. Before they can be killed their wives arrive with help to rescue them.
