"A Bright and Shining Light" Askani Mother, Sanctity, proclaims Nathan to be the long awaited Askani' Son in front of the entire Clan. Nate isn't too happy about it. Led in by the undercover Straitor Umbridge, Haight's Canaanite forces converge on Ebonshire and attack the Askani Clan. Sanctity appears to be decimated in a ship's blast but is actually teleported to Stryfe in whom she sees great potential. Umbridge gets the drop on Nate and Aliya but Tetherblood arrives just in time to save the day. Nate puts the Canaanites on notice and proclaims an end to the Clan Askani and the birth of the Clan Chosen.
